I have a Bachelor of Science - BS, Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering (2008 - 2013) from Helwan University Cairo – Egypt. I'm 33 years old, I have almost 7 years of experience in Network Engineering. I like cooking, playing tennis, and swimming.

I’m currently studying a Master of Information Technology (Cybersecurity) at Charles Darwin University’s Casuarina Campus in Darwin. I am also a member of the Australian Information Security Association (AISA), Australian Computer Society (ACS), the CDU African student forum, and the Vice-President of CDU Cybersecurity club. 

The decision to pursue my master’s degree in the Northern Territory of Australia came because of the positive learning experience and the quality of education. The idea of studying here in Darwin, a natural and warm place surrounded by a rich Aboriginal culture, was truly exciting. I imagined myself in a supportive academic environment, where building my knowledge and understanding would enrich me.

When I arrived in Darwin, I felt so delighted and happy by the welcoming people and atmosphere. The Northern Territory’s pace of life is a refreshing change from the hustle of my previous life. I really appreciate the beauty and serenity that is surrounding me here in Darwin.

I’m an attentive, creative, and carefree person, and a team player who is always willing to collaborate with others. I’m so excited and proud to be selected as a 2024 Study NT Student Ambassador. This opportunity will increase my insights and my local experience, give me leadership experience, enhance my communication skills and help to increase my confidence, all things that I can use after graduating from Charles Darwin University.
