Meet Ema Kittova
Ema finished her Midwifery degree in Slovakia before moving to Australia nearly four years ago. Ema is now studying a Master of Nursing at Charles Darwin University (CDU) to expand her skills and knowledge.
As a CDU and Study NT International Student Ambassador Ema is involved in various student community events and joined the CDU Junior Buddy Program, helping international students settle in Darwin. She also volunteered to run Zumba classes contributing positively to students’ wellbeing.
“I applied for the award as I reflected on the whole year and all the activities I managed to achieve. I’m proud of myself how I managed studying, working and engaging with the community through volunteering and helping others.”
