Meet Sulav Shrestha
Sulav comes from Nepal and has chosen to study a Master of Information Technology at Charles Darwin University.
Sulav has used his IT and marketing skills, and together with his brothers has developed the Territory Online Food Delivery System (named Damper Deliveries) to assist Darwin restaurants with online ordering when other systems were taking a 35% cut with every order during COVID-19.
“COVID-19 has changed the world. My contribution is to help people adapt to the ‘new normal’ whether it be through my time as a volunteer or by applying my IT degree in solving real-world digital challenges.”
Sulav was a finalist for the Study NT 2020 International Student of the Year Award category at the Chief Minister's NT Export and Industry Awards.
