Meet Yuqing (Crystal) Zhao
Yuqing (Crystal) Zhao moved to Darwin from China at the beginning of 2020 to study her Master of Teaching at Charles Darwin University.
Crystal’s volunteering journey started in 2018 by representing Chinese students in Queensland. She now dedicates her time and skills to support international students and the greater Darwin community by volunteering for Kindness Shake, determined to give back to the community and fellow students.
As a student ambassador for CDU she actively participated and volunteered for many university led events and activities. “I want to show the local community how important international students are, organising, participating and volunteering in many events and cultural activities.”
