Meet Neil

My main purpose of travelling to Darwin, Australia was to visit my family as well as to see top tourism spots which are known and a must see in the Northern Territory. From the Top End sunsets, rich aboriginal history, captivating outback wildlife and the diversity of people are the reasons I expressed my interest in staying.

As time went by, I met a lot of amazing people who were accommodating and made my stay so special; I felt like I was in my home country. Because of that experience, I decided to pursue further study for personal development and continue to nurture my potential in the marketing field. Being in the NT makes my study so much more interesting because of its diverse community, supportive international education institution, a friendly environment and boundless opportunities.

I have been given the opportunity to volunteer and share my time with organisations such as the Filipino Australian Association of the Northern Territory Inc., Kindness Shake and the Australian Institute of Officer Professionals which are helpful for my professional development.

The way the Northern Territory Government and local community have embraced international students as their own makes me incredibly proud to study in the Territory.
