Meet Waseem Ramzan
My ambition is to help solve the issues of today’s world, more specifically within the context of aid and development.
I am currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Humanitarian Aid and Development at Charles Darwin University in the lively Northern Territory of Australia.
The high density of cultures, as well as the geographical place of this area, was appealing to me as it provides the best environment to enhance my understanding of the world.
Every day, I interact with people from different cultures. The Northern Territory’s people and their stories are changing my outlook every day. Particularly, I am motivated by the opportunities that enable me to make positive change in people’s lives.
In the future, I would like to work with international organisations and design sustainable solutions that would foster transformation in the lives of communities. The things I am learning in my degree and what I am experiencing as a student at Charles Darwin University, are things that I could use in my future profession and are helping me become the person who wants to make the world a better place.
