Meet Jiaxing Du
I am currently undertaking my PhD research in creating trustworthy artificial intelligence systems in human resources management. My academic path has been enriched by my Master of Commerce (HRM) and Master of Business Analytics that have equipped me with an analytical and strategic skill set, and fuelled my passion for bridging technology and societal needs.
My journey from China to Australia was driven by an interest in experiencing a diverse academic environment and contributing to the global discourse on AI’s role in society. The Study in Australia’s Northern Territory Scholarship has been pivotal in alleviating the financial burdens of study and enriching my cultural and academic perspectives.
At CDU, my Ph.D. research aims to enhance organisational efficiency and ensures ethical standards and fairness of AI applications in addressing societal management challenges. My goal is to contribute to the Northern Territory’s vision of leveraging technological advancements for community benefit, ensuring AI is accessible and equitable.
My commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment is evident through my volunteer work and academic endeavours. I aspire to propose innovative solutions that respect both technological advancements and human dignity, ultimately bridging the gap between technology and societal welfare.
