Dayam is a year 10 student at Darwin High School and is also a 2020 Study NT Student Ambassador.

This year, Dayam has organised events and distributed meals with the Indian Association and Kindness Shake to other international students, and assisted the local cricket club in their COVID-19 safety planning.

Dayam was a finalist in the Study NT 2020 International Student of the Year Award category of the Chief Minister's NT Export and Industry Awards.
