Meet Nithya Romeshika Yamasinghe
Whether through mentoring, leading professional development events, or serving in key roles such as Vice President of CDU Information Technology Students Association and Treasurer of the Women’s Collective for Innovation and Change, Nithya continues to inspire others and pave the way for future leaders.
As a Team Leader for the YPRNT JumpStart Project, Nithya addressed critical social issues by raising awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving and contributing to organising workshops supported by the NT Department of Health.
Working with Inspired NT, Nithya promotes science and STEAM outreach activities; by assisting with drone handling and delivering microscope and robotics activities, she creates engaging, hands-on experiences that resonate with students from diverse backgrounds.
Nithya was also busy volunteering for the Lions Club, the Kindness Shake, the Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation, the Australian Red Cross Volunteer Retail Shop – just to name a few.
