
Nightcliff Seabreeze Festival
The Nightcliff Seabreeze Festival is a 3 day and night event of art, music, food and culture along Nightcliff's stunning foreshore.
The festival aims to provide a local forum for all facets of the arts including First Nations culture, visual arts, music, dance, circus, performance, spoken word, exhibitions, workshops, food and drinks.
The festival is free and open to the whole community, with the option of an additional Festival Supporter Pass only cost $5 per day for adults to access to the licensed entertainment precinct for $5 a day. Passes can be purchased at the gate. Kids 17 and under remain free!
Gates are open:
- Friday 8 May, 5-10:30pm
- Saturday 9 May, 3-10:30pm
- Sunday 10 May, 3-9pm

Nightcliff Seabreeze Festival is a #WasteWise event and plastic-free! So BRING YOUR OWN CUP for benefits and discounts!
Picnic rugs, plates, bowls, cutlery, refillable water-bottles and hats never go astray either!
Getting there:
Leave the car at home and catch a Darwinbus for free from anywhere in Greater Darwin! Tell your bus driver you are heading to Seabreeze and show our printed program or map. All public buses from all locations will be free to all patrons travelling to and from Nightcliff Seabreeze Festival during the festival hours.
Free Shuttle rides are also available with Tour Tub will be running most of the day to help you make the most of your exploration of the Stages and Spaces along the foreshore at the event. With stops at:
- Nightcliff Village Carpark on Progress Drive
- The main Darwinbus Stop at Aralia Street Shops on Aralia Street
AND
3 x stops along the Nightcliff Foreshore at the:
- Banyan Music Stage (Chapman Rd end of the festival near Aralia Street roundabout)
- Foreshore Cafe Stage Carpark (across from Nightcliff Rd in side the Cafe carpark, centre of the festival)
- Nightcliff Jetty Carpark (at the end of the carpark closest to the Dance Stage)
You can get where you need to go, from one end of the festival to the other.
If you need to travel by car:
To ensure everyone's safety and wellbeing, traffic detours and restricted access to some roads will be in place. Be safe and thoughtful where you park.
In addition to the usual traffic abatement measures along the Nightcliff foreshore, northbound traffic travelling down Progress Drive into Banksia Street will be DIVERTED into Aralia Street at the roundabout. Casuarina Drive becomes ONE-WAY with the lane closest to the sea reserved as a BIKE LANE. Parking access to this section of road will be restricted to residents' vehicles, Tour Tub and Seabreeze performer drop offs only. Please note that for the safety of all festival patrons, the recommended speed along Casuarina Drive during the event over the three days will be 20 kilometres.
