Meet Tania Valentina Cortes Aristizabal
I am originally from Villavicencio-Meta, in the heart of Colombia. I hold a degree in Business Administration and decided to move to Darwin, Australia, because learning English had always been one of my main personal goals.
I have been living in the Northern Territory (NT) for almost three years, and it has been an unforgettable experience. As an international student, I deeply appreciate the cultural diversity, rich gastronomy, and unique opportunities that the NT offers. Living here has allowed me to connect with people from different backgrounds and gain a broader perspective on the world.
I have always loved animals and have lived with them my entire life. One of the most impactful aspects of living in Darwin has been witnessing how responsible and caring the community is towards animal welfare, something I truly admire.
Migrating to another country is also about choosing the life we dream of. For many international students, Darwin has provided the opportunity to build a new home and create a multicultural community that feels like family.
