Meet Nga Man Wong (Iris)

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics from the United Kingdom and bring over ten years of professional experience in Hong Kong. I am grateful for the mentors, colleagues, and opportunities that have shaped my journey and inspired my passion for leadership and giving back to the community.
I chose to come to the Northern Territory (NT) to slow down, reflect, and plan my next chapter. From the outset, the NT’s striking landscapes, sunny outdoor lifestyle, and welcoming multicultural community made me feel at home. Studying here is never a solo journey—ideas, initiative, and meaningful connections have a way of turning aspirations into reality.
Giving back is central to who I am. As President of the CDU Chinese Students and Scholars Association and Social Media Strategist at Kindness Shake, I actively champion diversity, inclusion, and multicultural connection. I also hold roles within legal centres, where I continue to develop my skills while supporting community access to justice.
I am thrilled to be a Study NT Student Ambassador and look forward to connecting with students and sharing the warmth, opportunities, and unique experiences that define life in the NT.
A little about me: I have travelled to more than 30 countries and play the Chinese classical instrument “Gu Zheng” at a performance level.
