Meet Mengdie Zhao (Momo)
I have previously completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Public Administration, and I bring a multidisciplinary background spanning public service, finance, and media.
I am the recipient of the 2025 Study NT International Student Volunteer of the Year Award and am actively involved in a range of community and volunteer initiatives across the Northern Territory (NT). My work includes supporting alcohol and other drugs (AOD) rehabilitation services, working with Aboriginal young people, and volunteering within the local basketball community. I also work as a research assistant on a youth sports and wellbeing project.
A fun fact about me is that I previously worked as a live‑stream host on a quantitative finance channel in China. I am a self‑confessed nerd who enjoys making complex knowledge and information accessible and easy to understand for everyone.
