Hello everyone, I am a high school student at Haileybury in Darwin. Before moving here, I also studied at a high school in China.

My connection with Darwin began through a recommendation from my previous school, and it was further strengthened when the Principal of Haileybury visited China and shared vivid insights into the lifestyle and learning environment in the Northern Territory (NT).

This inspired me to make the move. Now, after living in Darwin for nearly a year, I have truly fallen in love with the friendly and welcoming locals, the breathtaking natural scenery, and the relaxed pace of life. As someone who loves nature, the hills, the sea, and the sunsets here are simply irresistible.

Since arriving, I have joined the school’s Basketball Club. The warmth and support of my teammates helped me settle in quickly, and I thoroughly enjoy every moment we spend training and competing together. Being immersed in an English‑speaking environment has also significantly improved my English proficiency.

I aspire to become a Student Ambassador because I would like to support the Chinese students who arrived with me, as well as welcome new students in the future. On a personal level, I also look forward to making friends from around the world and exploring the unique charm and rich history of different cultures.
