Meet Harnoor Kaur

Harnoor

Originally from India, I moved to the Northern Territory after Year 5, and it has been my home ever since.

Having grown up in India, I have always been passionate about studying abroad and the opportunities it provides. My journey to the Northern Territory began with a desire to broaden my horizons, experience a different culture and a new educational system. The vibrant, multicultural community of Darwin, alongside the academic programs, makes it the perfect place for me to continue to pursue my education.

I have been honoured to be chosen as an ambassador for Study NT. This role allows me to share my experiences and showcase the Northern Territory as a vibrant destination for education and growth. Being trilingual in English, Punjabi, and Hindi has further enhanced my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.

I am passionate about leadership and aspire to become a CEO, driven by the sense of accomplishment that comes with achieving success. Outside of my academic and professional endeavours, I enjoy dancing, reading, and crocheting as creative outlets.

Volunteering is a significant part of my life. I have contributed to Girl Guides in Katherine, Palmerston Parkrun, and will soon begin volunteering at Palmerston Library. My community involvement reflects my commitment to making a positive difference.

Currently, I am working toward completing the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, which aligns with my vision of personal growth and leadership. As a Study NT ambassador, I am excited to inspire and connect with others, while continuing to build a meaningful and impactful future.
