Meet Kome Tran

Kome

In 2022, I left my sales and customer service job in Vietnam, even as opportunities for career advancement arose. I realised that the profit-driven focus of these companies conflicted with my values and led me to question my life’s purpose. I discovered my passion for helping others and inspiring them to grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. This motivated me to pursue studies in Humanitarian Aid and Development.

Australia’s strong commitment to human rights, social justice, and improving quality of life made it the ideal place for me to acquire the knowledge and skills to make a positive impact. The Northern Territory, in particular, is known for its rich cultural diversity, where I have felt welcomed, respected, and valued by an open-minded and inclusive community. I am fortunate to be surrounded by supportive and inspiring individuals who encourage me to keep striving for my goals.

On top of that, I dedicate my time, energy, and love to giving back to the community through volunteering. With The Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation, I support young people impacted by mental illness, helping them improve their mental health. Giving reflects my abundance mindset, enabling me to welcome more opportunities and blessings into my life. Living in the Northern Territory has given me a sense of purpose and fulfillment, allowing me to embrace the life I have always wanted.
