Meet Harry Temm

I’m currently pursuing a Master of Information Technology at Charles Darwin University (CDU), and moving to Darwin in the Northern Territory has been a life-changing experience. Since arriving in early 2024, I have embraced countless opportunities that have propelled my professional growth and enriched my personal journey in Australia.
Passionate about technology, innovation, and supporting small-to-medium businesses, I have always thrived on exploring uncharted territory and finding creative solutions. Before coming to Australia, I helped local entrepreneurs in Indonesia streamline their digital marketing strategies, driving growth by thinking outside the box. That same adventurous spirit brought me to the Northern Territory, where I have fully immersed myself in the vibrant community and a wealth of professional opportunities.
At CDU, I have been an active member of the Cybersecurity and IoT Clubs, a participant in the IT CodeFair, and a proud volunteer with the YMCA’s Youth Parliament, empowering young Territorians to voice their ideas to policymakers. Beyond campus, I have supported local food drives, taught road safety through the Rotaract Young Professionals program, and networked tirelessly—all while juggling full-time study, part-time work, and a commitment to giving back.
This dedication has opened doors I never imagined. I’m thrilled to work as an IT Service Technician for one of Australia’s Best Managed IT Companies (an honour awarded by Deloitte for three consecutive years). Along the way, I have built lifelong friendships with people from diverse backgrounds and experienced the unparalleled opportunities the Northern Territory offers.
As a Study NT Ambassador, I’m passionate about showcasing the Northern Territory as the ultimate launchpad for international students seeking to grow academically, professionally, and personally. The Northern Territory is a place where ambition meets opportunity, and I’m honoured to inspire others by sharing my story.
