Meet Uzair Mir

Uzair Mir from Pakistan, graduated with a Bachelor of Humanitarian and Community Studies from Charles Darwin University in 2020.

 

Uzair received 4 promotions in his 5.5 year of career with the Department of Children and Families and is currently a team leader in the Care and Connection work unit within the department.

 

He has worked in multiple roles in the NT Child Protection program and has responded to serious and complex incidents of alleged criminal acts committed upon a child such as carrying out investigations related to sexual assault and extreme physical harm.

 

In addition, Uzair also volunteers with Red Cross, the Pakistan Association of the Northern Territory and as Commissioner for Oath to assist in the community.
