Denis comes from Switzerland and is currently completing his Diploma in Community Services at Alana Kaye College.

Denis created a podcast and the International Students in Darwin Facebook page with fellow finalist Francesca Pellizzari to share positive stories and to build the international student community during the pandemic.

Denis was a finalist in the Study NT 2020 International Student of the Year Award category of the Chief Minister's NT Export and Industry Awards.
