Fun things to do in March for international students!

The Northern Territory is all about creating a welcoming, inclusive and vibrant environment for all international students. These events are your chance to dive into different cultures, make new friends and experience your new home.

Fabalice Festival, 7-10 March 

Escape to Alice Springs for the one-of-a-kind Fabalice Festival. This inclusive celebration throws open its arms to international students with drag, comedy, cabaret, and family fun galore.

Join Kindness Shake for a special day dedicated entirely too international students. Connect with fellow students, hop on a bus and explore Darwin’s culture and resilience through historical landmarks and natural landscapes!

Holi Festival, 23 March 

Holi is a significant festival in Indian culture, signifies the triumph of good over evil, the blossoming of spring and a festival of colours. This joyous celebration welcomes individuals of all backgrounds to come together to enjoy delicious food, live DJ music, water slides and a lot of fun. 

This year, the Indian Cultural Society of Northern Territory are celebrating the vibrant Holi festival on 23 March at Lake Alexander from 10am to 2pm.
