Study NT looks to the future at AIEC 2026

Future Thinking was the theme of the 40th Australian International Education Conference (AIEC) from 27-30 October 2026 in Sydney, bringing together leaders, policymakers and practitioners from across the international education sector to explore the opportunities and challenges that will shape the future of international education.

Throughout the conference, Study NT connected with key stakeholders from Commonwealth and state and territory governments, education agents, universities, vocational education and training providers, English language providers, accommodation operators and international student service providers. 

These engagements help strengthen partnerships that support student recruitment and the overall student experience in the Northern Territory.

As the sector continues to evolve, Study NT remains committed to working collaboratively with industry partners to ensure the Northern Territory remains a destination of choice for international students and is well positioned to respond to future opportunities and challenges in international education.
