Territory Day

Each year the Northern Territory (NT) comes alive with fireworks, concerts and community events to recognise the day the NT declared independence from the Commonwealth Government in 1978.

In Darwin, you can enjoy the fireworks down at Mindil Beach. Head down from 5pm, for an unforgettable celebration of our signature Darwin event, featuring performances by Budjerah and Steph Strings. 

In Alice Springs, the Council Lawns on Todd Street will host this year's celebrations and feature a strong line-up of Central Australian talent, including Katanga Junior and James Range Band.
