Meet Samia Akter
Samia believes that volunteering is not just about giving time; it is about creating connections, supporting others, and helping people feel a sense of belonging. As a passionate volunteer and Study NT Student Ambassador, she has dedicated herself to building a more welcoming and connected community for students and the wider Northern Territory.
Through her role as Volunteer Coordinator with Women’s Collective for Innovation and Change (WCIC) and her involvement in Charles Darwin University (CDU) and community initiatives, Samia has supported events, encouraged student participation, and inspired others to engage with their communities. Her commitment, empathy, and willingness to make a difference reflect the true spirit of volunteering and community leadership.
