Meet Synthia Islam
Synthia is passionate about strengthening community connections in the Northern Territory by encouraging young people to explore science and technology. She volunteers at the National Science Week, Maths Camp, Code Club Australia , Australian Red Cross, Vinnies and Legacy NT.
In addition, she has also taken on leadership roles as CDU Secretary of the Cybersecurity Club and Treasurer of the Muslim Student Association, where she organised events and supported student-led initiatives. Furthermore, as a student member of the CDU Academic Board, she contributes to governance and ensures international students’ perspectives are represented.
