Meet Birendra (Biren) Kunwar
Since arriving in the NT in January 2023, Birendra has volunteered with Inspired NT and the Radicle Centre delivering science and technology engagement programs. He has engaged diverse groups with virtual/augmented reality, flying drones, chemistry experiments, First Nations science and much more. His environmental advocacy extends to his volunteer efforts with the Rapid Creek Landcare Group, where he participates in mangrove clean-ups and native planting initiatives, promoting ecosystem sustainability.
Biren’s leadership in Kindness Shake, particularly as a Volunteer Team Leader for the 2024 Kindness Festival, has united many international students and locals.
