Meet Kelly
After studying for four years in Canberra, I came to Darwin along with my family in early 2021. I now study as a Year 11 international student at Darwin High School.
Having previously studied in a populous and busy city, I can say that Darwin is truly something special.
Darwin is a place where I feel a strong sense of belonging despite having only lived here for such a short amount of time. I believe that Darwin’s exquisite natural beauties, inclusive multicultural community, and incredible hospitality for absolutely everyone will draw anyone to quickly fall in love with this place like I did. Not to mention the incredible cuisines you find in restaurants of Darwin. With its multicultural diversity, Darwin offers an authentic taste of every bit of the world!
It is definitely daunting to begin a new journey in a place I have never been, but I am so grateful for the opportunity to be one of the Study NT Student Ambassadors of 2021, and so excited for the road ahead studying in Darwin.
