Meet Nirali

Nirali

Darwin is home, I attended high school here and it was an easy decision to choose Charles Darwin University to continue higher education and remain with my family. I was delighted to be accepted into the undergraduate entry pathway to Medicine in the Northern Territory, through undertaking the Bachelor of Clinical Sciences at Charles Darwin University. This is a six year commitment to study in the Northern Territory and complete the double degree and I am grateful for the opportunities it has presented and am excited to begin this year.

I moved to Darwin from New Zealand when I was 12 and since then have passed many important milestones here. I am very family orientated, so I feel privileged to be studying the degree I wanted and able to stay home too. Choosing Charles Darwin University for my tertiary studies was an easy decision and over the past two years I am thankful for all the opportunities it has provided me.

Darwin is a vibrant multicultural city, with plenty of celebrations and events, beautiful weather and wonderful people. I really like that it is a small centre and there is usually a familiar face around and a list of common friends can be found within minutes of meeting a local stranger.

Darwin is such a uniquely beautiful city and I am lucky and passionate to be studying and working here.
