Meet Eden Yeh

Eden Yeh

I am Eden, and I was born in Taoyuan, Taiwan. Before coming to Darwin, I worked in laboratory research at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where I explored immune responses and vaccination strategies. My research background sparked my interest in how laboratory science can support healthcare and improve people’s wellbeing.

Now I am studying the Master of Medical Laboratory Science at Charles Darwin University in the Northern Territory. The program allows me to develop practical skills in clinical laboratory diagnostics and understand how patient samples are analysed to support medical decisions. Moving from research into a more clinical laboratory environment is an exciting step for me, as it connects scientific knowledge with real-world healthcare.

Living in the Northern Territory has been a great experience so far. The weather is pleasantly warm and comfortable, and everything here has been even better than I expected, although it has been raining quite often recently!

One of the things I appreciate most about studying here is the opportunity to meet people from many different cultural backgrounds. The Northern Territory is a unique place to study, and the community is welcoming and supportive of international students.

During my time in Darwin, I hope to continue learning, build new connections, and gain practical experience that will help me grow professionally and personally. I look forward to making the most of my studies at Charles Darwin University and enjoying everything the
Northern Territory has to offer.
