Meet Thi Thu Trang
I love working with young children; and my skills have improved and cultivated through my work as a tutor in high school, which has helped me develop effective communication and student psychology understanding skills. In addition, I developed management skills to be able to manage my class more effectively by leading students through my instructions and engaging them in classroom activities.
Why did I choose to study at Charles Darwin University (CDU) and in Darwin? CDU is one of the most prestigious institutions, with excellent teaching quality. Darwin is a region with tropical weather that feels similar to my home country’s climate. I do believe that this will help me settle down better and sooner. When I first landed in Darwin, on a sunny day, I enjoyed the small city feel and felt the freedom of no traffic jams. It is also a very short distance for me to commute from my home to the university campus, which is amazing! I am very happy to be able to meet people in my community that come from diverse backgrounds and I am looking forward to exploring Darwin and student life at CDU!
I am strongly committed to helping students achieve their academic goals, and seeing students succeed drives me to develop creative and engaging lesson plans that make learning enjoyable and impactful.
