Meet Lina
I am sincerely honoured to have been selected as the recipient of the 2022 Study in Australia's Northern Territory Scholarship. I am studying at Charles Darwin University majoring in Master of Teaching, and my ultimate goal is to become an early education teacher.
Although I come from a remote town, I met many great teachers in my early education. The influence of these teachers made me fascinated by early education and my work has become more and more oriented towards the education field. So to improve my educational skills, I chose to study early childhood education in Darwin. I heard Darwin has so many different cultures and attractive tropical views, that’s why I chose to move here.
I felt so welcomed when I first arrived in the Northern Territory and rather touched by the kindness of the strangers I received along the way.
I love studying in Darwin, my favourite things are the friendly people, the beautiful sunsets, the rich Aboriginal culture and the multicultural communities.
