Meet Sunny Zitan Liu
Charles Darwin University student Sunny Liu took out the inaugural award at the awards ceremony, which was held at the Darwin International Tennis Centre on 11 November 2021.
Sunny volunteers for many local organisations, including the Multicultural Council of NT, Kindness Shake NT, the Australia Chinese Friendship Society and is an NT Youth Week Ambassador. She is also one of this year’s Study NT international student ambassadors.
“I like to think volunteering for an organisation is like running a pleasant marathon with friends, and along the journey we hold hands and cheer each other up. It doesn’t matter who wins a medal, because the bond, connection, experience and views we see along the way is most important.”
