Prepare for an extraordinary evening as Lankan Dance Academy Inc. celebrates its 5th anniversary with a dance extravaganza.

 

This milestone event showcases the remarkable work and passion that the Lankan Dance Academy has brought to the community over the past five years. The evening's performance will be divided into four distinct segments. Audiences will be treated to a range of Sri Lankan dance forms like traditional Kandyan, a fusion performance, a mask dance, and a mesmerising fire dance. 

 

Each segment promises to transport viewers through the rich cultural heritage and evolution of Sri Lankan dance and promises a show unlike anything Darwin has seen before.

 

Adding to the evening's excitement are special guest performers from other communities who join us to celebrate the diversity and unity of dance across cultures. This event also marks the first-ever Sri Lankan dance performance held at Darwin Entertainment Centre, making it a historic occasion for both, the Lankan Dance Academy and the community.
