Territory students represent at the National Council of International Students Australia Conference

Five StudyNT ambassadors attended the eighth annual Council of International Students Australia (CISA) Conference in Cairns from 25 to 27 June. CISA is the national peak student representative organisation for international students and the conference attracted over 200 international student delegates from across Australia.

The StudyNT student ambassadors shared their experiences of studying in the Top End and promoted the ample opportunities available to international students in the Territory.

StudyNT was thrilled to support StudyNT student ambassador Ben in securing a place on the CISA executive board as national secretary. As Ben reflects on his new position, and the exciting 12 months ahead, he said that “the amount of friends I made during the conference is uncountable. It feels great to have the chance to expand my network with student leaders that have similar ideas, and the common goal of making Australia a better place for international students”.

“It’s wonderful to know that we (international students) are being supported by StudyNT. I am tremendously grateful to the Northern Territory Government for helping me achieve my goals”.
