GovHack Hackathon – Northern Territory 2018

GovHack is an annual Open Data competition held across Australia. This year GovHack will be held at the Darwin Innovation Hub, 48-50 Smith Street Mall Darwin! The GovHack weekend will start at 6pm Friday 7 September and competition closes at 6pm Sunday 9 September.

GovHack is Australia’s largest hackathon, and encourages participants to identify and solve social, economic and environmental challenges using open data. Open data is publicly available data, made accessible by government of all levels to promote collaboration, innovation and transparency. In 46 hours teams will create a project page, proof of concept and a video telling the story of how government data can be reused.

GovHack participants include coders, designers, analysts and creatives who want to tap into the information available and be part of creating something new, innovative and meaningful! GovHack is a free event for registered competitors. Please register your attendance via Eventbrite website.
